Green represents our corporate sustainability efforts which are being rolled out as rapidly as our products’ efficacy helps consumers with their well-being.
Locally in Southern California—where we’re headquartered—we’re making changes as fast as we can to reduce our impact on the environment.
First, we replaced the grass and plants around our corporate and manufacturing facilities that require high levels of watering throughout our rainless summer months with drought-tolerant plants and xeriscaping (desert landscaping). As a result, Natrol has reduced its landscaping water needs by 80%. An act that’s both good for the environment and a savings we can pass along to consumers.
Also, we installed electric car chargers for reserved spaces near the front of our building to promote the use of electric cars by our employees.
And our latest project: shifting to solar energy in order to benefit from the average 333 days a year of sunshine which bathes our Chatsworth facilities.
